Alice Hugo

BASI Alpine Level 2

Ski instructor Alice has been on skis since she was 4 years old. She is from Devon in England, though moved around a lot when she was younger, so learned to ski on a dry slope in Scotland and later In Garmisch, Germany. Alice is returning for her second season in Wengen. As well as English, she speaks basic Italian and French.

Alice always has a smile on her face, has a great sense of fun and has endless patience. She really enjoys teaching children but also loves to teach all ages and a range of abilities, believing that it’s never too late to learn! Alice’s aim as an instructor is to pass on her passion for the great outdoors and to improve every individual’s performance at their own pace, whether it takes 3 hours or 3 days and gets really excited when someone achieves their goal however big or small it might be.

Alice also has a deep affinity with the sea and during the summer months, spends most of her time sailing traditional boats and tall ships around the UK and the rest of Europe. She goes slightly crazy if she’s kept indoors for too long!
